2008 - LA and Paris !! After a whirlwind few months, Starr has finally settled down to finish painting for her next big solo exhibition at Red Hill Gallery in December. Drawing inspiration from the beautiful city of Paris, Starr will use the sketches and paintings she did there as the theme for the exhibition. Cerebral Palsy League Charity Auction - was a huge success and once again Starr has shone with her 'Story of a Bridge' painting going for a fantastic $2600 !!! On the night Starr met up with TV personality Heather Foord and shared a Chardy :)

Kangaroo Valley Residency - Starr has just returned from her first residency in the fantastic scenery of Kangaroo Valley NSW as a guest of Galerie Aniela. She painted in the footsteps of masters like Arthur Boyd and has created some of her most exciting landscape work to date, some of which is available at Galerie Aniela right now.
CD cover art for Phil Lewis of LA Guns - Just released is the brand new CD for former LA Guns vocalist Phil Lewis. Phil has been a fan of Starr's art work and had commissioned the portrait for his latest album called 'Gypsy'. Quite and honour for Starr as she is a big fan of La Guns and was lucky enough to meet and spend time when she was in LA for her last exhibition earlier this year.
Cerebral Palsy League - Watch out for Starr again in this years CBL charity auction 'Art for Art's Sake' on the first of August from 6.30pm. Last year Starr's work attracted the highest price out of all the artists involved and she was sincerely honoured to be able to give so much to such a worthy charity again this year. Artist in Residence - Starr has been invited to be Artist in Residence at Kangaroo Valley's Galerie Aniela. A wonderful gallery that features a fantastic selection of Australia's finest painters. This is a fantastic honour for Starr and puts her in fantastic company. The residency will be in July 07.
Los Angeles Exhibition - Starr's exhibition at LA's Infusion Gallery was an amazing success - many thanks to all of those people that turned up and to those that bought - Check out here
Starr is in LA now and very happy that the gallery has sold some work already and it doesn't open til later this week!!!
Emporium - Sell Out!!! - Starr's most recent solo at Emporium Gallery in Fortitude Valley was a complete sell-out and Starr has been working hard to fill the orders.

Art for Art Sakes - The Cerebral Palsy League of QLD charity auction is on the 14th August 2006 - Starr has been asked to paint a window for the auction and her painting was shown in the Northside Chronicle August 9 2006. Darwin Exhibition and the Cyclone - After some hairy moments, Starr has made it back from Darwin safely following her trip to make the opening of her first Solo in Framed Gallery. Her's was the last flight allowed out of Darwin that night before the cyclone was due to hit. Luckily it was downgraded and everyone in Darwin is safe.
The exhibition was quite a success too. Thankyou to Anne and everyone that has made that possible.

Red Hill Gallery -COMPLETE SELLOUT !!! - September 2005 With 2 sell-outs already at Red Hill, Starr has come up with her best work yet for this year's solo exhibition. Opening night was an outstanding success with Gallery Director Graham Cambell-Ryder announcing that Starr had sold 41 out of 50 paintings on the night - an amazing feat!!!
The night was made even more special when the gallery presented Starr with the hugest bunch of Irises for her birthday, which by co-incidence was the same day as the opening. Celebrations abound.
Nundah Art Show - This year the organisers of the Nundah Art prize and Gallery Six Nundah were pleased to have Starr be a special guest judge. The competition and the gala ball afterwards were a big success.
NAK Hair products have focussed a campaign around Starr's stunning self portrait titled ' Not all there' - the campaign will feature Starr herself posing in front of the portrait with her hair done in a similar style.
New York and Singapore - Once again this year Singapore and New York will be showing Starr's work in exbition. Thisis a great honour for Starr who is selling well in these countries.
Vinex Wines - Another interesting development is the intended use of Starr's 'The Lovers' painting (also used in the limited edition print by Xenor p/l for a collection of wines for export to the US. The good people at Vinex have cut a deal with Starr to use her image on a number of wines in the $17 - $20 range. Check the labels here
New Galleries - In exciting news, Starr has landed three more fantastic galleries - In Melbourne - Lyn Wilton Gallery, in NSW Galerie Aniela and on the Sunshine coast QLD - Francis Reilly gallery. Starr is extremely proud to be represented by these galleries and is glad to have a presence in the Southern states of Australia.
